The Tarn Tam is a great Fairisle tam for both women and men from the Cumbria collection. It is knitted in the round using 11 colours. The Tarn Tam is available in two kits: Raw and Silver Birch.
Each kit includes 11 x 25g balls of Marie Wallin British Breeds yarn together with the detailed printed pattern for the Tarn Tam in two sizes.
Please note that there is enough yarn in each kit to knit two tams if you add an extra ball of Raw or Silver Birch to your order (you can go to British Breed page to order the ball).
Included in the price is a downloadable PDF version of the kit, so that you can enlarge the charts without having to spoil the printed kit pattern. The download link is sent by email once your order has been confirmed.
The finished measurements of the tam are: 53 – 56 cm (20.75 – 22 in) and 59 – 62 cm (23.25 – 24.5 in).
